How Coal Mining is Trashing Tigerland

In the last five years, India has witnessed an unprecedented increase in new coal mines and the establishment of coal-fired thermal power plants. This expansion directly threatens the national animal of India, the Royal Bengal Tiger. This report argues that  if saving the tiger and other wildlife is in fact a national priority, the government cannot ignore the threat posed by coal mining in Central India.
